Winter Fruit That Will Help Pamper Your Skin For Valentine’s Day!
The holiday season is officially behind us and so are some of the unhealthy habits we tend to pick up around that time of year. Unfortunately, our skin may still be suffering from all the sugar, wine, heavy meals and stress we exposed ourselves to. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we can provide you with some great all natural tips to help get your skin back to its normal self just in time for the romantic holiday!
Due to containing an immense amount of essential vitamins, citrus fruits are known for their beneficial skin care properties. Vitamin C is especially known for increasing skin elasticity and reducing free radical damage. Luckily, there are some great citrus fruits we can use that are in season during the wintertime - mandarins, grapefruits and limes.
We recommend mixing a tablespoon of the juice from the fruit with some
other natural ingredients that are also known for healthy skin
properties (honey, milk, oatmeal, yogurt, egg whites, or avocado) in
order to create a nice pasty consistency for a facial mask. Make sure
to leave the mask on for at least twenty minutes and try to apply it
at least three times a week.
Not only do these fruits help boost our immune systems and stave off
colds but they can help improve your skin for big events such as that
all important Valentine’s Day date!

There has been much research in recent years that suggests a link between Vitamin B12 deficiencies with memory loss, feelings of confusion, issues with thinking, and lower brain volume. Vitamin B12 is mostly found in animal products such as meats, fish, poultry, dairy products and eggs. It is recommended to consume at least 2.4 micrograms of B12 a day.
