Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is the practice of using microinjections of conventional and/or homeopathic medication and/or vitamins into the mesoderm or middle layer of skin to deliver a healing or corrective treatment to a specific area of the body.  This is the newest breakthrough for body sculpting, cellulite-reduction and skin rejuvenation.  In body sculpting, this is either used as an alternative to liposuction or to re-contour areas that have been liposuctioned and are beginning to see fat deposits.   These treatments can be permanent, as long as the patient continues with proper nutrition and exercise programs.  In cellulite-reduction, this treatment is one of the treatments that helps reduce cellulite by attacking the middle layer which cannot be penetrated by Liposuction or Endermologie.  This solution dissolves the cellulite which gets removed through the Lymphatic system.  In skin rejuvenation, this solution penetrates the Dermis and causes the skin to look and feel revitalized and rejuvenated.  This therapy is best when used in combination with Botox and other dermal fillers.

What are the benefits of Mesotherapy?

  • Improved blood flow
  • Dissolving excess fat deposits
  • Removes fibrotic, hardened connective tissue
  • Improves lymphatic drainage

The FDA has approved Mesotherapy for cellulite loss and because over 90% of women are suffering from cellulite, this is a breakthrough.  Mesotherapy is safe, effective and has helped hundreds of women in Europe and South America for decades.  Most people require between 10 – 15 treatments depending on the severity of cellulite.

There are four stages of cellulite:

  • Stage 0:  No visible cellulite, even when skin is pinched
  • Stage 1:  No visible cellulite when standing or lying down, texture is seen when skin is pinched
  • Stage 2:  Visible cellulite when standing but not lying down
  • Stage 3:  Visible cellulite

Mesotherapy rejuvenates collagen, stimulates and supports new mesoderm growth and smoothes uneven and asymmetrical areas.
