03-31-2006 - Sam Speron discusses the willingness of patients to discuss their procedures.

Recent study shows that men and women of all ages report a greater willingness to tell non-family members that they've had cosmetic surgery. Dr. Sam Speron talk abouts plastic surgery no longer being frowned upon but generally accepted.

02-13-2006 - Interview with Dr. Sam Speron in Chicago Sun Times about Laser Resurfacing and "plastic surgery as a gift".

Chicago Sun Times interviewed Dr. Sam Speron about plastic surgery becoming popular as gifts. They also interviewed one of his patients who received the laser resurfacing treatment as a present, to fix scar from a mole removal.

12-27-2005 - Interview with Dr. Sam Speron in Teen People Magazine about photofacials and skin rejuvenation.

Teen People magazine interviewed Dr. Sam Speron about photofacial and one of his patients. The interview focused on rosacea and photofacial treatments of this common problem.

11-10-2005 -  Interview with Dr . Sam Speron  about Cellulite and how patients can reduce the appearance of cellulite.

11-7-2005 - Interview with Dr. Sam Speron in Satisfaction magazine about lunch hour rejuvenation.

    Park Ridge Center for Plastic Surgery includes a medical spa that offers a range of non-invasive anti-aging procedures. These so-called lunchtime facelifts are less expensive and faster than plastic surgery—but provide some of the same effects.

8-24-2005 - Interview with Dr. Sam Speron about liposuction, techniques, risks, post surgical care and other details.

    Liposuction is the surgical removal of excess fat, offering a better contour and shape to the body. As people gain and lose weight, certain areas of the body tend to develop deposits of unwanted fat that can be difficult to get rid of through diet and exercise. Liposuction can offer permanent removal of these fatty cells.

5-16-2005 - Dr.Speron talks about physical injuries due to dog bites.

        In the end, the child's physical injuries are not nearly as bad as the psychological scars that can turn an active, outgoing child into a withdrawn youngster.

4-29-2005 - Dr. Speron attends the biggest meeting for plastic surgeons (ASAPS). 

        This year's meeting was in New Orleans and targeted all of the newest and latest technology.  ASAPS is recognized throughout the world as the authoritative source for cosmetic surgery education. U.S. members are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

4-28-2005 - Dr. Speron is interviewed about teenage plastic surgery.

         Plastic surgery for teenagers is certainly not a new thing.  For years, 17 and 18 year olds have been getting nose jobs as graduation gifts. In the past years, there has been a significant increase in the number of plastic surgeries performed on teenagers and children.

4-18-2005 - Dr. Speron is featured in Health News Digest.com and Cosmetic Surgery.com discussing laser hair removal.          

          Hair removal by laser has become an extremely popular item. According to experts, about 1.4 million Americans had some unwanted hair removed by a cosmetic or plastic surgeon using a laser. Laser hair removal is a technique that has literally advanced light years since the invention of tweezers.

1-3-2005 - We are proud to be the first physician in the Chicago area to resell neaclear Liquid Oxygen Skin Care Products. 

 

        neaclear is a physician-strength skin care company that is really starting to turn heads.  They have stabilized liquid oxygen and added it to all of their products.  This helps make them the ultimate anti-aging skin care product line!

        11-15-2004 - Another talented aesthetician has joined our practice. 

 

        We are proud to add Bonnie to our armamentarium.  Now we are able to meet the increased demand and continue to offer the full line of chemical peels to our center which we believe will help better serve our patients and give them more options.

 

        4-3-2004 - We are proud to be the first physician in the Chicago area to offer the new Syneron Galaxy laser system. 

 

        This technology just got FDA approved.  Dr Speron has been following this new laser technology for the last 9 months.  This revolutionary system combines Bi-Polar Radiofrequency & Broad Spectrum Light Energy.  Now we are able to offer the new FotoLift laser procedure which offers 60% wrinkle improvement. 

        8-15-2003 - Another talented aesthetician has joined our practice. 

 

        We are proud to add Heather to our armamentarium.  Now we are able to offer the full line of chemical peels to our center which we believe will help better serve our patients and give them more options.

        6-6-2003 - The DynaMed Medical Spa System has arrived! 

 

        We are proud to offer one of the newest and latest advances - the DynaMed Medi-Spa system.  Benefits include massage and relaxation, aromatherapy, dry sauna, cellulite improvement and weight loss.

 

        5-16-2003 - Dr. Speron attends the biggest and best cosmetic meeting for plastic surgeons (ASAPS). 

 

        This year's meeting was in Boston and targeted all of the newest and latest technology.  Always keeping up-to-date is very important in today's day and age.

        2-11-2003 - Dr. Speron is one of the 1st doctors in the area to be using Radiance. 

 

        Now, we can offer patients an injection (not collagen, not Restylane, not a foreign body) that can last 2-5 years!  This injection can be used on any wrinkle.

 

        12-26-2002 - Dr. Speron is proud to be the first plastic surgeon in the Chicago land area to offer the new FDA approved Clearlight acne laser treatments. 

 

        Dr. Speron is very excited about adding this new dimension to his practice.  He truly believes it will revolutionize acne treatment. The patient response has already been overwhelming.

 

        11-1-2002 - Dr. Speron is proud to join Advocate Medical Group at his new Arlington Heights Clinic.

 

        Starting November 1st, Dr. Speron will be seeing Advocate Medical Group patients in Arlington Heights every Thursday afternoon.  It makes it easier to see us if you live further  west.
 

        8-27-2002 - Elmhurst clinic is open! 

 

        Dr Speron saw his first patient in this new office location today.  The Clinic is beautiful, state of the art and even has a waterfall on the first floor!  It makes it easier to see us if you live further south or west.  Dr. Speron will be there on Tuesdays.

 

        8-24-2002 - Our very first ezine is coming! 

 

        Because we want to help everyone become an educated plastic surgery consumer, we are proud to announce a cutting edge development - the very first ever plastic surgery  monthly ezine (newsletter sent via email).  Email us with your questions and we will try our best to make the ezine fun, easy-to-read and educational.

        7-9-2002 - Three new office locations coming soon, downtown Chicago, Arlington Heights and Elmhurst.

        7-1-2002 - Jenny Jones is filming a show about us and how plastic surgery changes people's lives.

    

        We'll let you know when the show will air but it probably won't be until September or October.

        5-18-2002 - Park Ridge Center For Plastic Surgery, SC Establishes Information-Packed Global Internet Presence.

 

        After a lot of hard work and effort, our newly designed interactive web site is finally finished.  To help our active and any prospective patients, we have attempted to put together the most comprehensive plastic surgery and anti-aging web site to date.  We will continually update our site and attempt to keep it current.
