Scar Guard

Scar Guard combines silicone, a mild cortisone, and Vitamin E
into an easy to use clear liquid. Painted on overgrown scars it dries within seconds.

When used daily, it helps improve the appearance of scars...

What Have Doctors Used In the Past To Help Scars Look Better?

Pressure- Elastic pressure garments were probably the first truly effective scar treatment

Problem:  Bulky and inconvenient.

Cortisone decreases irritation making the healing scar more comfortable.

Problem:  Creams messy, shots uncomfortable. Cortisone tapes hold moisture and fall off.

Silicone gel sheeting works by pressure and the silicone inhibiting collagen formation.

Problem:  Bulky and inconvenient. Silicone sheets may trap too much moisture causing irritation.

Vitamin E helps soften scars.

Problem: Vitamin E oil is messy and cutting capsules in half is tedious.

Directions: Apply twice daily after washing.

  • Cleanse skin with an antibacterial soap, rinse and pat dry with a clean towel.

  • ScarGuard can be applied over last layer. Remove when it starts to peel.

  • Shake Bottle Well.

  • Paint a layer of ScarGuard onto the scar and allow to dry (usually about 15 seconds) before coming into contact with clothing.

  • Continue as long as needed.

  • Just like most nail polish, ScarGuard is flammable until dry (usually about 15 seconds). Do not apply near open flame or while smoking.
