Chicago Split Ear Lobe (Torn Ear Lobe)

Split
earlobe, or torn earlobe, usually
occurs when heavy earrings are worn. It can be seen in women or men of all ages. There can be either a complete or partial split of the earlobe. Some people just learn to "live with it." However, the social
embarrassment is typically what motivates people to seek correction. The
procedure is simple and highly effective. It can be performed under local
anesthesia and usually takes about 15 minutes. Insurance will frequently
cover the cost of the procedure.
