Skin Care Tip:

Hydraing your skin with Omega Fatty Acids

To maintain beautiful skin, you need to maintain your lipid and hydric levels. When the skin is not getting enough nutrients, it soon dries out and becomes fragile. Having dry skin can cause all kinds of discomfort, including cracking, flaking, peeling, itching and redness. The obvious way to help rid yourself of dry skin externally is to moisturize regularly. Though moisturizers and beauty products can help dry skin, what you eat everyday matters more than what you put on. There are certain foods that you can eat daily to leave your skin looking and feeling great! For retaining moisture in your skin, you can eat nuts that contain essential fatty acids such as Omega 3 and Omega 6. This will help limit water loss in the skin cells. Water of course is essential to a healthy glowing skin. Drinking up to 8 glasses of water daily will help get rid of waste, which causes dull skin. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Anti-Aging Tip:

Try Relieving Stress to Delay Aging!

Chronic stress has been shown to have a number of negative health impacts, from insomnia to weight gain. Stress can even increase the risk for heart disease, as well as impairing the digestive, immune and central nervous systems. These are all diseases that can shorten our lifespan. Although more study is still needed to prove that psychological stress does contribute to biological aging, what scientists do know is that stress can contribute to premature aging. To start the steps to relieving stress, you first need to identify what is causing your stress! This may not be easy as your true sources of stress are not always obvious. To identify the causes of your stress, look closely at your attitude and habits. It may also help to start a stress journal to help you recognize the regular stressors in your life and how you deal with them. You should begin to see some patterns. You should avoid exploiting unhealthy habits in able to cope with your stress such as smoking, excessive sleeping, overeating or undereating, procrastinating and taking out your stress on others.

You can start relieving your stress by taking the time to listen to some music on a daily basis. Music’s calming effect has been proved during labor, dental procedures, before and after surgery and even emergency rooms. This effect is due to music’s ability to distract and soothe. Laughter is the best medicine. If you are watching television, tune in on some comedy shows! When you laugh, you cause a pleasurable change in your body’s chemistry that lasts as long as 45 minutes. Go outside and have a picnic! The stress-relieving, soothing power of nature has been recognized for centuries. Many hospitals now make “nature areas” as a part of their therapeutic environment. Physical exercise can also help reduce anxiety and stress, so take a walk outside.

Plastic Surgery Tip:

Chicago Forehed Lift Surgery for worry lines!

The effects of aging are inevitable and often, the brow and forehead area show the first signs. The brow or forehead lift raises the brows in order to remove the appearance of forehead wrinkles and frown lines. It also improves the overall appearance of the upper eye. Based on differences in how men and women age and on new developments in medical technology, different methods can be used to perform this procedure. The goal of a brow lift is to tighten excess loose skin, modify drooping brows and smooth forehead wrinkling. If necessary, the surgeon will remove parts of the muscle that causes vertical frown lines between the brows. The main goal for most patients is to rejuvenate the eyes, making them look more youthful and rested.
