Avoid overusing skin products!
Our skin helps keep our bodies safe. However it can easily react to a number of factors we expose it to every day. Pollutants, chemicals and UV rays often affect our skin’s health, but luckily there are ways that we can shield and repair our skin from these substances. Avoid over-using products full of chemicals While there are numerous products on the market that claim they can help exfoliate, moisturize and clean our skin, it's important to pay extra attention to the chemicals featured in these cleaners. Shower gels are detergents and can draw the natural oils out of your skin as well as trigger allergic reactions. It is best to restrict from using these products every day for the benefit of your skin. You can use products with natural oils and very few chemicals which are more likely to help improve the overall health of your skin. You can also improve your skin’s health by eating healthy beneficial foods that protect it from harmful UV rays and using beauty products in moderation. However, some skin problems are best solved through cosmetic techniques such as microdermabrasion and chemical peels. These treatments can improve overall appearance of your skin.
Guarding against skin cancer
Most of us don't give a second thought to those pesky freckles and moles that appear on our bodies over time, especially when you are a healthy individual. However, sometimes it’s good to be cautious. If the spot is evolving, growing, or changing over time, it could be a cancer. Most normal moles, freckles, and birth marks are relatively constant over time. To guard against skin cancer, you can wear titanium and zinc based sunscreen daily. It is good to make this a habit even if there is no sun, sunscreen is a must! Limit your sun exposure or try to avoid spending time outside between 10 am and 2 pm, when the sun's rays are the strongest. Constantly pay attention to your body. Try to surveillance spots on your body monthly. Pay attention to any changes. Skin cancers that are caught early are extremely treatable and survivable. See your physician immediately for any concerns.
Chicago Neck Lift Procedure
Not only is a sagging neck difficult to cover-up with makeup, but it is also more resistant to improvement with diet, exercise and sun avoidance. Neck skin also seems to age much quicker than facial skin. There are a number of procedures available to enhance the appearance of the neck. These procedures range from minimal in-office procedures with little down-time, to more invasive procedures requiring anesthesia and extended recovery time. Your treatment options can include laser treatments, botox injections, liposuction on the neck for fat removal or a neck lift procedure. The exact procedure performed will depend on your surgeon’s assessment and your desired results. In general, a small incision is made underneath the chin and the fat in this region is directly excised. The muscles are tightened and a small amount of skin may be removed, giving you a more defined and youthful-looking neck.
