Skin Care Tip:

Importance of Eye Cream!

Many of us when doing our regular beauty regime skip using an eye cream. However the skin around our eyes is usually delicate and the first indicator of aging. The skin around the eyes ages faster and loses elasticity faster than anywhere on the body. Using a daily eye cream is beneficial at any age and finding the appropriate eye cream for your age and concern is key. Most eye creams are formulated to deliver maximum moisture and many contain anti-aging ingredients and botanicals to keep the skin around the eye tight. Eye creams are also thinner and lighter than face creams they also exclude perfumes and fragrances. It is also important to use SPF30 eye cream every morning to protect the skin around your eyes as well. So don’t forget your eye cream!

Anti-Aging Tip:

Do you really need a Vitamin C supplement?

Every one of us tries their best to stay healthy and look younger. That’s why we try crazy diets, eat healthy and exercise, but we usually don’t think about vitamins s our anti-aging regime. One vitamin that can not only strengthen our immune system and keep us healthy but also improve our skin is Vitamin C. Taking Vitamin C daily can help prevent wrinkles. Vitamin C helps form collagen, which smooths fine lines and wrinkles. Try to incorporate a topical vitamin C treatment daily after you wash your face and before you put on moisturizer or sunscreen so it penetrates the skin. So yes, you really do need Vitamin C!

Plastic Surgery Tip:

Chicago 7 Critical Questions To Ask Your Plastic Surgeon

When having plastic surgery it is extremely important to ask appropriate questions. Questions that will help you make the right decision in picking the right procedure and the right surgeon. Always make sure you ask if the surgeon is board certified and how long has he/she been performing plastic surgeries. You definitely don’t want someone who just got out of school and is inexperienced. Make sure you ask if you can see before and after pictures. Doctors usually have before and after pictures of the procedures they did, so make sure you look at the pictures and like what you see. Ask about the most common complications of the surgery to know the risks that can occur. Always ask about visible swelling or bruising that may prevent you from returning to work so you are prepared and know what to expect after the surgery, ask what you can do to lower the risk of scarring. The specialist should always advise you on what can you do or use to lower the chances of any scarring. Make sure you ask where and how will the procedure be performed, is it in a surgical center or hospital. What are your options if you are dissatisfied with the outcome of the surgery. Before you decide to have any procedure done, it is best to see your physician as well, and gather as much information from your doctor.
