Skin Care Tip:

Retin-A (Isotretinoin) is not just an anti-aging cream!

As we get older, our skin will start to become thinner and is more susceptible to trauma. It also will start to show the same hormonal changes that happen in our bodies. These hormonal changes such as puberty, pregnancy, acne and aging leave their marks and blemishes. Also what we consume and the environment will play a vital role in accelerating these changes. Retin-A cream will help to rejuvenate the skin to help smooth out fine lines, wrinkles and other blemishes. It is also commonly used to help treat acne and keep pores clean. IsoTretnoin is the key generic ingredient in Retin-A cream which will help improve blood supply and replenish skin cells. Retin-A essentially is a form of Vitamin A and can be used on most people for anti-aging skin care benefits.

Anti-Aging Tip:

Do you really need a daily multivitamin?

Multivitamins have their pros and cons. One of the largest pros to getting your intake of vitamins from food or supplements is to help decrease the risk of any vitamin deficiency. Vitamins can come in a wide variety of different forms, from tablets to capsules, drinks, powders and energy bars. To help stay healthy and fit, you should supply your body with enough vitamins every day but don't overdo it as too much can be harmful. Everyone’s body need vitamins and these nutrients help perform certain chemical reactions so your body can function properly. Vitamins help with all sorts of different functions for the body, such as with digestion of food, hair, nails, muscles growth, eyesight, heart and also the nervous system. Of course the best way to receive your daily dose of vitamins is to eat a healthy balanced diet. That that would mean you would have to eat all major food groups. A simple daily multivitamin can be used to help but should never be a substitute for eating healthy food and working out.

Treatment for skin tags is removal for most people if they bother them or for cosmetic reasons. The different options for removal include cryosurgery, cautery to destroy with heat or burn it off or simply having it cut off with medical scissors after numbing the area first.
