Benefits of Polyphenols!
Polyphenols are found in natural plant food sources that have high antioxidant properties. There are thousands of identified polyphenols found in foods. Some examples are tea, wine, chocolates, fruits, vegetables and extra virgin olive oils. As a group, antioxidants fight free radicals and protect cells in your body. There are different types of polyphenols which are flavonoids, stilbenes, lignans and phenolic acids. Flavonoids have antioxidant and ant-inflammatory properties which are usually found in fruits, vegetables, wines and many more healthy items. Stilbenes are found in red wine and peanuts just to name a few. Lignans are found in cereals, fruits, flax seeds and certain vegetables. Phenolic acids are found in tea and spices such as cinnamon. Making sure these foods are in your daily diet is important in helping your body grow stronger and not be prone to getting sick, especially in these colder winter months!
Benefits of Meditation!
There are many benefits to meditation which is why it has been around for so long, as far back as 1500 BC to be exact! Just a few benefits are it reduces stress, encourages a healthy lifestyle and improves concentration. Because it is a form of exercise, it can also help improve cardiovascular and even immune health. It can increase happiness and self-awareness. So not only can it help you improve your physical health but mental health as well. Studies have shown that practicing meditation can help memory & decision making while reducing anxiety. It can also help to improve sleeping patterns which can be a cause to certain physical and mental stress. If you haven’t tried meditation yet, I suggest you do so to help benefit your overall health.
Benefits of Liposuction With Body Lifting Surgery
Liposuction is often used along with body lifting procedures to achieve the best results and a more proportional look. Body lift procedures have many different goals but one of the main goals is to get rid of excess skin. Some examples of body contouring procedures include facelift, breast lift, tummy tuck, thigh lift, and brachioplasty. Liposuction is used to get rid of excess fat and help contour the surrounding areas so you get a more natural look to these transitional areas.

Make sure you chose a board certified plastic surgeon. A call to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons or ASPS at 1-888-4-PLASTIC (ie. 1-888-475-2784) can tell you which doctors are legitimate plastic surgeons with outstanding qualifications. You can also visit the ASPS web site at www.plasticsurgery.org. The ASPS is the only one of the 24 boards approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties that certifies physicians in plastic surgery of the face and all areas of the body. When considering a cosmetic surgeon, you should also make sure your surgeon is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). A call to ASAPS (1-888-272-7711) or visiting the ASAPS website (www.plasticsurgery.org) can help you verify your plastic surgeons membership.
