Skin Care Tip

Protect your neck!

The neck skin is usually the first sign of aging because it's the most neglected area on the body. So it is very important to protect and not forget your neck.

The neck skin is much thinner than the face with a lot of elasticity and stretch to it so UV ray exposure and constant movement makes it more susceptible to wrinkles. We must also take into consideration that the neck does not produce oil or collagen like the face does and is slower to repair itself. There are a few simple changes you can make to your daily routine that can help maintain a more youthful looking neck. Be conscious while using your phone, that always looking down at your phone and the blue light from your phone being pointed straight at your neck will cause premature aging. Applying neck skin products to the neck in an upward motion will help stimulate the skin upwards. And of course don't forget sunscreen!

Anti-Aging Tip

Skip the smokes!

If you need another reason to motivate you to quit smoking, add premature wrinkles to the list. Smoking changes the skin, teeth, and hair in ways that can add years to your looks. Some smokers appear more pale, while others develop uneven coloring.

Smoking chronically deprives the skin of oxygen and nutrients. There are more than 4,000 chemicals in tobacco smoke, and many of them trigger the destruction of collagen and elastin. Quitting smoking can improve your appearance. As blood flow gets better, your skin receives more oxygen and nutrients and this can help you develop a healthier complexion.

Plastic Surgery Tip

Butt lift surgery is pretty common!

Lots of people are interested nowadays in getting an excisional back lipectomy or butt lift. We always get questions about whether or not the procedure is necessary and effective. Surgical body lifting and rejuvenation is a very common procedure and very safe if performed by an accredited physician and in an accredited facility. Think of a butt lift as doing to the back what a tummy tuck does to the front.

During this surgery, all areas of concern that show aging are repositioned. Skin from the fat and muscles below the surface are separated. Fat may be trimmed to help improve the contour. The muscles and SMAS membrane are tightened and the skin is repositioned and any excess skin is removed. Facial structure plays a major role in determining the outcome of the procedure.
