Skin Care Tip

What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring chemical that can be found in your eyes, skin and joints. It keeps tissues and joints lubricated by retaining moisture. Scientists can also create it in the lab using microbes. This lab-created version can aid in a number of body functions. Hyaluronic acid gels, lotions and serums claim to combat wrinkles and aging while also improving the overall appearance of your face. Hyaluronic acid appears to aid soft tissue growth, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, keeps skin hydrated, minimizes tightness, improves suppleness, and lowers scarring.

Anti-Aging Tip

Stay Guarded from Skin Cancer and Wrinkles, Wear SPF!

Do you know what protects us from UV damage, lowers our risk of skin cancer, delays the start of wrinkles and works instantly? Sunscreen! It is the best-kept beauty secret that isn't so secret after all. When we're happily sunning at the beach on vacation, many of us already know we need SPF. However, if you want to maintain your skin looking bright and healthy in the long run, you must use sunscreen every day. Sunscreen protects your skin and lowers your chances of skin cancer or pre-cancers. By absorbing, reflecting, or scattering sunlight, sunscreen protects the skin from UV radiation as well. Sunscreen is one of the most powerful preventative formulas when it comes to wrinkles, fine lines, and crow's feet.

Plastic Surgery Tip

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation will enhance the appearance of your breast and can promote a more confident outlook.  If you think your breasts are small or are different sizes this can impact how you dress or the type of bra needed.  Some people decide on a breast augmentation after they have children or after they have lost weight.  Before deciding on breast augmentation, do your homework and consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.
