Skin Care Tip

Are you taking care of your skin the way you should be?

As we transition from Summer to Fall it is time to make a few minor adjustments to your skin care regimen.

In the summer your skin is oily and in the winter it is dryer.  It's essential to moisturize more than usual in the fall and winter. Dryness is exacerbated by the cool fall wind.  To complement your regular moisturizer, you might wish to switch to a more hydrating cleanser.  Don't forget you use your sunscreen everyday.  Yes, even in the cooler months.

Anti-Aging Tip

Why Vitamin E helps you age gracefully.

Did you know that it is recommended to take your Vitamin E at night with a meal?  Your body will absorb this nutrient better then.

Vitamin E helps your skin, blood, brain, vision and your reproductive system. Vitamin E is also full of antioxidants which help shield your body from certain diseases. Some foods that are rich in this Vitamin E are almonds, peanuts, margarine, canola oil, olive oil, leafy greens, and fortified cereals.

Plastic Surgery Tip

Lunchtime Facelift

Botox is one of the most used options for facial rejuvenation.

A lunchtime facelift is also know as a mini or Shot Scar Facelift. This is usually done in our office under only local anesthesia. Dr. Speron achieves the desired results by “lifting” your facial skin with small incisions while still lifting the SMAS muscle underneath in three different directions to help you look as natural as possible. Dr. Speron will also remove excess skin during the procedure to help reduce wrinkles and tighten your skin. There is very little down time. This should be done by a qualified and highly trained board certified plastic surgeon.
