5 Steps To Beautiful Summer Skin!

With summer approaching quickly here are some helpful ways to prepare and protect the skin to have a fun - filled season.

  • Drinking lots of water helps to prevent sunburns. Doing so greatly maintains the glow of skin and detoxification is facilitated. Drinking green tea too can have the same effect.
  • One who has undergone a skin enhancement surgery recently or has done botox injection sessions must try one’s best to avoid direct sunlight at any cost. The UV rays may reverse the improvements.
  • Using soap - based cleaners to clean your skin in summer season can backfire. Try using a non -soap or foam based facial cleanser. It drags out all the impurities and doesn’t allow the skin to go dry. Avoid using harsh scrubs as well.
  • Applying other body care products such as nourishing moisturizer before you apply sunscreen is a must. It prolongs the effects of sunscreens and prevents the skin from getting dry. Buying moisturizers with Vitamin D and E are a great plus.
  • Before you apply self-tanners always get your skin exfoliated. Exfoliations make sure you get a more smooth application. Make sure that the tanner has an SPF of 15 or more.

One of the most effective ways you can improve your overall health is very simple - drink more water. Water composes more than half of the human body; it is impossible to live without it. It is the most essential element the body needs for survival, yet water is so underrated and many people do not understand the importance of staying properly hydrated. Staying hydrated is critical to your health.

Good hydration helps maintain mental and physical performance. Remember, water is essential to your body, and it is a great beverage if you are watching your weight. Plus, everything works better when you are properly hydrated, and that includes digestion and metabolism. If you have difficulty enjoying water, try squeezing some lemon or limes into it or dilute your favorite beverage with water. Other choices to replace lost fluids are fruits, vegetables and soup, which are also made up of mostly water.
