Anxiety disorder is not fun

Anxiety disorder is not fun.

Did you know that the majority of people out there are anxious about some thing? Over 3 million people in the United States alone are affected by anxiety in any given year. And those are just the ones we know about.

What is anxiety? It’s a mental health disorder characterized by feelings of worry, anxiety, or fear that are usually strong enough to interfere with your daily life.

Examples of anxiety disorders include a panic attack, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

For some people, anxiety keep be pretty crippling.

So today I’m gonna give you a little trick I use to try to handle my anxiety. Whatever your anxiety is, I find it quite helpful to give it a funny name. Usually a goofy name works best.

That way it doesn’t seem so overwhelming or intimidating.

And, of course, as always please seek help if you don’t feel like you can heal your anxiety by yourself or with your family or friends. There are a lot of trained professionals out there that can help you, people you can talk to or doctors that can even help you with medication if needed.

You don’t have to do it alone. So please don’t.
