Don’t completely deprive yourself of your favorites

Don’t completely deprive yourself of your favorites

I grew up in a different time. People back then were told to work hard, even suffer and never complain about anything because it made you weaker. No signs of weakness were allowed, especially in medicine. This mind cape expanded to all facets of life. But my advice is simple - Don’t completely deprive yourself of your favorites. I mean food, skin care, hobbies or anything really.

Just remember to keep them in moderation and don’t overindulge. For example, most diets fail because they are too restrictive. During your journey to get and stay healthy, you will of course experience setbacks. It’s common and expected. But I urge you - do not give up. Figure out what went wrong. Use this as a learning opportunity. Next, make adjustments and continue on your journey. You can do it. I believe in you. And oh by the way, you are worth it.
