How many skin care products should you use?

Keep it simple. Too much is not good. I always say less is more.

My advice to all my patients is - SIMPLIFY YOUR SKIN CARE ROUTINE.

Whether your see products advertised on TV or touted by influencers on social media, you may get the message that caring for your skin requires multiple steps and products. But it’s not that hard - wash your face, moisturize, and wear sunscreen. That’s it!

Also the too much, too soon application methods could make your application less effective. Wait 60 to 90 seconds to allow the products to penetrate the surface layer and work their magic. If you clump several products on at the same time, the skin can’t absorb the various ingredients, leading to less-than-optimal results.

If in doubt, come see our medical aestheticians 7 days a week for a free skin consult and they’d be happy to go over your skin care regimen with you. Yes, even if you’re not using our products. We’re ok with that. We just want you to get the best results possible. We can even show you how to mix and match. Let’s say for example, you love your current eye cream. We can show you how to mix and match any products and explain how they work together. We aren’t here to sell you something. We just want to help you.

Less is more. Keep it simple. Then you’re more likely to comply with it.
