Wait what, Walnuts Are Good For Your Skin?

According to many health experts, besides benefiting overall health, a handful of walnuts also helps nourish your skin promoting its health.

Walnuts are one of the most nutritious foods around. Yep, it’s a superfood. I myself started eating a couple of walnuts every single day about 6 months ago in my morning granola cereal.

The rich source of unsaturated fats makes walnuts beneficial for the heart. Walnuts are also loaded with a certain protein that helps promote weight loss.

I could ramble on and on but yes walnuts are also good for your skin. They are among the richest sources of omega-3 and omega-6 unsaturated fatty acids, which helps prevent skin inflammation. They are a rich source of antioxidants to flush out toxins and neutralize free radicals. Walnuts are even saturated with moisturizers like Vitamins B5 and E. The natural vitamins in walnuts are also known to reduce dark spots and pigmentation.

Now that I’ve made your day by talking about walnuts, I give you permission to go snack on some walnuts. So go have yourself a great rest of the day and enjoy life to the fullest!
